How I installed - was very easy.

1)Downloaded the zip file from the Frog website 2)unzipped to folders 3)opened fireftp and moved the files (maintaing folder structure) to my site 4) created the database frog in mysql 5) created the user frog with all access rights to the database. Wrote down the actual names and passwords NOTE - on a shared host the actual database and user name have a prefix - example if my account name is "buddy" the database would be called buddy_frog 6) pointed my browser to www.domain.com/install/ 7) entered the names and passwords into the install page. Select the appropriate PDO option. NOTE - the first time the install didn't work because I selected YES. I deleted everything and reinstalled with No. (Took all of 10 extra minutes) 8) clicked ok and the message said I can login into my admin - everything looks great. I hope this helps someone - this has been the easiest install for me. |
