Do you know of live sites running Frog CMS? Maybe it would be nice to list them here and see what's possible with Frog. My own site: http://www.vanderkleijn.net/ |

We haven’t changed the logo on it, but it is in fact on frog. We were using radiant for a while, but development on it slowed down. Frog is so much better and it is actively being developed in a language I understand. Also if you don’t mind Id like to correct your English as it is horrible and I want to see you become better at it, so you can write more docs! why does this one (http://pndsidekitchens.com/) point to the radiant cms website. |

@ajcates - I object most strenuously, sir! :) Philippe's English is vastly better than my French, and in the forums when writing is fairly quick and casual, I don't think I've ever had trouble understanding him. I'd rather have his frequent, rapid interventions here (as he so often does) than have him agonizing over whether he has correctly formed English auxiliary verbs! :) Now, official docs are a different matter. ;) Interesting, btw, to have your take on Radiant development..... FWIW! David. |

I had been struggling to find a simple to use/manage CMS for a while now and had almost given up and planned on writing my own until I found Frog and I LOVE it... Have already converted one client's site to use Frog and just finished with our own website... and yes, it's using Frog. |

Well his language isn't that bad, I just want to see him get better at it. I haven't changed the logo because I don't have the .psd file. And on Radiant, none of there plugins worked if you had the most current installation, there code doesn't work on Rails 2, The tags are kinda limiting compared to the way Frog is set up with echoing php variables. Also Frog takes up way less memory, And its is alot easier to add on to. |

Just finished a site for a client using Frog CMS. Oasis for Orphans. Many thanks to everyone who helped me on this forum with code and stuff. I have to say, as a designer and not a programmer, Frog was a little frustrating to use, but I figured some stuff out. (including installing the TinyMCE plugin and modifying it a lot). The problem I see is that I was so heavily dependant on this forum for tweaks to code and couldn't do a lot myself. The documentation is frustratingly simple and unhelpful when you compare it to something like Wordpress' Codex. Overall though, the client is pretty happy. |

TheJester12, Very nice work. The layout is very clean, nice use of colors. I like the way you included the title of the page within each banner image in a way that doesn’t distract from the image. The Frog CMS site I’m working on has the title in the bottom left, which often obscures some of the image. Based on what I see on the Oasis site, I’ll suggest to the designer they reconsider the title text location in the image. I too have been frustrated with the challenges in learning Frog, due to the limited documentation. Compared to WordPress, the Frog community is much smaller. The support on the Frog forums can be very helpful. David has been a wonderful resource for me, and many others on the forum. I know this week he’s not available. though. For the past five help requests I’ve posted this past week, I’ve had no response, despite repeated requests. Not sure if you’ve noticed this already, but the link to the Oasis contact page in the footer is pointing to the contact.html file, a bad link, and comes up as page not found. In addition to updating the link information, you might consider adding a Page Not Found page to the site. I’ve posted info on how to create a custom Page Not Found page at forum:topic 339. |

@TheJester12 - nice work! It's not only a great looking site, but it looks like a great project, too. One additional suggestion to redcrew's in the previous post: I noticed that your metadata is still simply the "stock" Frog metadata. Of course you can add in your own "static" metadata on your Layout page (I presume), or you can use these instructions to have "per-page" metadata which is something that Google seems to like, and use, in its page-ranking system. Have you got plans for further Frog sites? |

My first site made with frog and I must say, I love it (the frog cms of course). Here’s the link http://www.3dconsulting.be. I know it says Noticed Communicationbureau (that’s not me), but it’s a job I did for that agency. Soon my own website will be with the frog cms (http://www.partnersfordesign.com), but still working on that for the moment. |

Nice one, Jonas! It looks like you have pagination working nicely there, too. ;) I'm sure the clients love your design; I hope they like using Frog, too! |
