Wow jeCa, nice site. I did not understand a single word but still, loved your design ! By the way, nice flash gallery, did you do it yourself? If not can you tell me where you got it?

Now, back to the reason of this post. Here’s another site I just finished tonight : Spa Mont St-Hilaire It’s a site for a Spa in Québec, Canada. It still needs some touch-ups and clean-ups so if anyone sees a flaw, please let me know.

Again, in french.. english version coming soon, sorry !

Thx 5ubstance, I’m using SlideShowPro + Director Feature ( SlideShowPro website) I’m using it because FrogCMS lags something like this(a decent image manager). But it’s a nice tool!

About your website, I don’t like it when an ugly scrollbar appears in the middle of a design! (besides that it looks alright to me!)

Thanks for the feedback and info jeCa. I’m not a fan of scrollbars either but how would you display a large amount of information otherwise? By changing the design? Or maybe there’s something I don’t know about scrollbars.. ?

5ubstance, add “justify” option to all <p> tags in your CSS. Just it.

You’re right Ax, I think it’ll look better that way. I’ll pitch the idea to my client, thx for your feedback !

I recently started with Frog for my own sites, as Typo3, Joomla, ModX and others are way too complex for most of my sites.

Frog lacks a bit of out of the box functionality I think it needs (like a Newletter system), and an easy way to link to pages already created from within the editor, but with Assets from Tuupola, you can get a long way.

I also love the image resize functionality Assets provides, although I would prefer if you could create much higher quality JPG and PNG thumbnails with it.

The ease of creating and maintaining functional webpages and converting templates to Frog is awesome. I wish I was a better programmer, for I see loads of potential.

And that for a CMS that has yet to get to version 1!

Great work!

My sites to date are:

and working on others.

Btw, is there a way to vote extensions to the Core extension list?

I would add

  • Assets (and by doing so jQuery, jQuery GUI, Image Resize)
  • Dashboard

because the image handling should be better out of the box, and to have some history logging is essential too.

Nice looking site. I like your menu. I found one little thing though, on the Sherborne & Ecoburn page (from the “our range of stoves” menu) the cleanburn.gif image seems to stretch past your inner-promo div.
I saw this on Opera 10 alpha and Firefox 3.0.1 (both mac). Probably just too much text or too big.

Aside from that, I wish I had your design skills !

Thanks guys for your nice comments.

@David – do you mean there is no sitemap? and there should be one?

@5ubstance – Thanks for pointing out the overlap. This is due to macs rendering text bigger. However i thought i fixed this. I did just re-check it on a mac and can’t see the overlap. Could you try refreshing and let me know?

Thanks again. I think its important to show the scope of frog so ill post more examples as and when they are finished.

I took an example jquery slider and changed it to preview images and text in two seperate sliders. Bit of a headache with browsers but got there in the end :@)

Here is another site I have created/managed, http://events.downers.us, that has been running since the beginning of the year on frog 0.9.4 and lighttpd webserver.

@andydtwo:

The sitemap is an XML version (for SEs I presume), not one for human lifeforms…

I like the completeness of the design, very easy on the eyes.

I saw a glitch on the online spares page where a CSS styled submit button has the text ‘Verzenden’ still in it. You probably missed the CSS rule to displace the position of the text to the left out of sight.

Great work though!

@Adaron – nice sites! I’m always intrigued by the multi-lingual ones, and I see that the “Amici di Porto Pollo” one is It-En-De (almost!). What technique did you use to manage the languages?
