I am trying to get Frog CMS to install, but when I navigate to my server to start the install process, I get the following error:
I discovered that PHP5 was not set as the default for my server, so I quickly resolved that situation, but to no avail. Any ideas on how to fix this? |

I just fixed the problem myself. To anybody who is using 1and1 as their hosting service, this error will possibly pop up if you do not switch PHP5 to be the default as described in other parts of this forum. In my case, although I made the change, I still had the issue. I finally discovered that the ‘.htaccess’ file in the root of my server has somehow been renamed to ‘htaccess’ (without dot) which caused the server to ignore it. Looking forward to taking Frog CMS for a spin! |

@mfvisuals – this isn’t the first time 1and1’s quirky hosting policy has caused problems noted on the forum. Perhaps it’s worth making a note about this in the Frog hosting thread? |
