A. This is Philippe Archambault’s PHP port of the Ruby forum known as “Beast”. The topic has come up several times around the Frog forums, and if you want to find the threads, just use the search facility and use “Beast” as your search term. This forum software is not available for distribution — however, there is another PHP implementation which you would be welcome to investigate (or see the demo). (If anyone is interested in the Ruby original, see this for information and links, or the altered version is here. FWIW, Beast is the forum software used by the 37signals’ forums: Basecamp, Backpack, and Highrise.) |
