How to move pages

I’ve created some pages that I whish to move to a lower level. How can I do this without deleting the pages and re-creating them? (This is not a question about reordering pages)

Here’s a simple description of the hirarky:

Level1:
Home Page
Personal Pages
The pages that I want to move
RSS Feed

Level2 (below Personal Pages):
I want to move them to this level

(For some reason Textile refuses to work. That’s the reason for the ‘not so great’ description of the hirarky.)

Don’t worry about it :) I tried removing the forward slash at the end. It didn’t help, unfortunately…

Now it looks like this:

/cms/config.php
bc. define(‘USE_MOD_REWRITE’, true);

/cms/.htaccess
bc. RewriteBase /cms

I can still only find my home page. It’s impossible to find anything else, unless I set rewrite to false. Annoying…

(As is the fact that bq. and bc. doesn’t seem to work in my posts)

If you need to use an included file, just create a new page under the Home directory, and set it to hidden. In your contact page you would include that hidden page or direct to it.

Is there any way to add some anti-spam features such as validating the $_SERVER[‘HTTP_REFERER’];?

Also, dynamically generating a hidden variable (using JS) and validating it before processing the e-mail?

Glad you got it working. The two other contact form plugins both have some checking (one more thorough than the other!), and might be worth looking at, too.

Problems using only the Framework, without the Frog?

today I started to work with the Framework without Frog. Is there any Problem for you when I use it? I think it is great. I can’t find a Documentation or a Download from the Framework.I got all the code out of Frog.

I’m already using the last solution you provided. It just didn’t work with mod_rewrite (maybe if you enable it right after the installation).
Works great, only some checks would be nice (right form of email user@some.tld). Now you can enter anything you want.

@vincentvdk – a couple possiblities to check:

1. If I set the URL on your test page to http://test.multihost.be/?form/template, then I get a result … does that help?

2. Have you changed the Page Type for the template that is the sub-page of your contact form to “Email template”? See the bottom line of the screen in this picture:

3. The problem might be that the email template is looking for the “success” or “failure” page, and not finding it. If you used tuupola’s code straight, then you’ll have these lines in your form:

<input name="failure" value="/contact/fail" type="hidden" />

It might be that the path to those “result” pages hasn’t been correctly set?

Just some random thoughts – hope they help!

At the Moment I’m developing some Community parts (Profil, Message, Friends) now I will look to save time in Developing using functions from the Core.

Obviously not carefully enough! (But I was just on the way out to the airport and thought a quick reply was better than none! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! :)

Meanwhile, you could try changing

  RewriteBase /cms

  RewriteBase /cms/

and see if that helps (as in my earlier post). :)

@bdkalwat are you reffering to the admin area of the website of the frontend? This will give some clarity as to what you are reffering to. Also if you have and example then that would be more helpful.

As stated by mtylerb, we are both very busy at the moment for different reasons and as stated by me before we should have a new version of Tagger ready early this year. The more feature request we get we will add in as we go along if we agree with it. We will develop more plugins in the future but at the moment some will be dependent on the changes in Frog CMS 0.95.

In the .htaccess file, have you changed

  RewriteBase /frog/

to your own Frog location? It could be

  RewriteBase /cms/

or just bare / if Frog is in the root dir.

I just installed frog into a folder called cms
I changed RewriteBase /frog to RewriteBase /cms in _.htaccess and renamed the file to .htaccess
I changed define(‘USE_MOD_REWRITE’, false); to define(‘USE_MOD_REWRITE’, true); in config.php
Both files were saved.

The problem is that I can only find my home-page. All other pages (including admin) can’t be found:

Not Found
The requested URL /cms/about_us was not found on this server.

It doesn’t matter if they’re pages I created or pages that came with the installation.

If I change use_mod_rewrite back to false, everything works, but I get those question marks I tried to get rid of.

Can you please help?
