I didn’t even know there were alternatives to violence. Guess you learn something new every day!
Tue, 16 Dec 2008 14:39:23 +0000 http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=5#post_5445 ricks http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=5#post_5445 Live sites running Frog CMS
That’s really neat robert! I like it. Very clean and I love the way the ribbon at the top and bottom is setup. The only thing I would consider is fixing (as in position: fixed;, not as if something is broken) the top and bottom ribbon and having the content scroll through the middle. It’s a suggestion, but it looks great as it is!
Tue, 16 Dec 2008 14:15:13 +0000 http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=5#post_5439 mtylerb http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=5#post_5439 Live sites running Frog CMS
Nice to see these sites coming on line!

@robertdp: what’s to “be nice” about?! Nice clean site — what’s not to like?? :) (looks like a good “cause”, too!)
Tue, 16 Dec 2008 08:17:10 +0000 http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=5#post_5432 David http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=5#post_5432 Live sites running Frog CMS
And here’s another addition:

A client asked me to take on the maintenance of a website I designed for them a couple of years ago, but I really wasn’t enthusiastic about the work. I had found Frog CMS a few months ago, and had always been interested in Radiant CMS, so I figured I would test it out on the client (evil laugh: MWA HA HA!).

The old design seemed too clunky and dark for my current aesthetics, and it had been a bit of a rushed job so it wouldn’t fit around Frog without a lot of tweaking. As a result, I put my “Work of Times Past” stomping boots on and quickly whipped up a new design (after a LOT of stomping on the old one). Minimalist and clean, but still using the design elements from their official letterhead.

And they still haven’t added any content since I set it up… The current content (as of December ’08) was borrowed from their last site so I could give them an example of how to use the system.

Here’s the site: Alternatives to Violence Project, Western Australia

P.S. Be nice, this is my first website in over a year since I left the industry. Try disabling the stylesheet. Yes, it is intentional. And no I didn’t bother with a print stylesheet. Pure laziness for that one.
Tue, 16 Dec 2008 07:47:36 +0000 http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=5#post_5431 robertdp http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=5#post_5431 Live sites running Frog CMS
http://www.enkelthed.dk

Danish site, for a CS student. I used the BD_Contact Form plugin, and I re-edited the index.php in the plugin directory. Otherwise I did one I wrote up by hand with a simple contact and some javascript to do a few checks on blank fields, nothing fancy.
Fri, 05 Dec 2008 16:21:52 +0000 http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=4#post_5164 JREAM http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=4#post_5164 Live sites running Frog CMS
Jesse,

Lovely work, wonderful job on the site!

I’m curious – how did you code the contact form? I ended up modifying my own contact form PHP code last summer to validate and check entries in the contact form fields.

Not sure if you saw this already, but there is an extra block of color attached above the “website” label on the contact form in Opera under Windows Vista. In Firefox, there’s an extra color block by itself above the “website” label.
Fri, 05 Dec 2008 08:53:46 +0000 http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=4#post_5144 redcrew http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=4#post_5144 Live sites running Frog CMS
Here’s a new one: LostSeed
Fri, 05 Dec 2008 08:45:06 +0000 http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=4#post_5143 JREAM http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=4#post_5143 Live sites running Frog CMS
It looks like it’s done using cookies – see the first post in here for an idea…
great job, i really like the site, looks great!
Thu, 04 Dec 2008 02:13:58 +0000 http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=4#post_5094 Andy http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=4#post_5094 Live sites running Frog CMS
@nashio76

I’m also very interested to know how you handle multiple languages…
Thu, 04 Dec 2008 01:37:11 +0000 http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=4#post_5093 cccmien http://forum.madebyfrog.com/topic/206?page=4#post_5093 Live sites running Frog CMS
Such different sites, too!

@nashio76 – any chance we could see how you managed the “sub parts and language selection”?
