Custom Product Plugin

Is anyone working on a plugin to define and catalog products? I think it would be very useful to be able to first define a product template with custom fields and then be able to create as many products as needed using that template. Cheers.

Someone did have a commerce plugin working, but it doesn't seem to be online anymore. Maybe Oweb will see this, or you could use the contact form on oweb's site to send a query.

no shopping cart, but my custom content plugin might be a place to start...

I may be misunderstanding but it looks like that was a plugin to integrate a shopping cart. I'm not very interested in trying to make Frog into a full e-commerce platform, there are lots of good projects for that.

@jonathanpaul - my bad, then! I saw "products" and immediately thought "commerce". Reading (and thinking!) more carefully, I'm sure ricks in post #3 is right -- if what you want is a "subtree" with custom fields (= page.parts). You can find it here.

I'm actually working on a simple product & shopping cart plugin... but it is very low priority for me and will probably be a while before I finish it.

Integrate Nopcart is really easy... You can install it for few or a lots of products. My Frog plugin is actually in French. In few days it will be in English too.

SMS payment to access hidden text (Local version)

The following module enables you to provide your website users with paid access to the content
published on your website.

It can be pictures, articles, links, even video clips. In a fact it could be anything you can place
on your website.

How it works?

You add two tags to the page text as follows: [smscoin_key] hidden content [/smscoin_key].
Instead of the content hidden with tags user will see the instructions for sending SMS. To access the
content hidden between the tags user must send an SMS to a short code. In reply message user receives
a code that provides the access to hidden content.

You determine the lifetime of the code in sms:key settings on SmsCoin.net website. You can limit the access
based on time limit as well as based on number of activations.

To be able to use the following module you first must register on SmsCoin.net website and connect
sms:key service as well.

Sms:key service’ registration and setup process are absolutely free.
