New Frog Theme

I had some time on my hands so I thought I’d build myself a theme for when Frog reached a marketable point for me. So here’s a link to it. It’s a take on both unbound and the Frog CMS site put together. I built it out of the unbound theme and it still contains much of the same css with some minor adjustments to colors. Most changes being in the header area. I plan on making a second layout with two columns instead of three to make more options. Update: link fixed. Update 2: Theme link just click on the .zip file to download the rebound theme |

Thanks, if someone knows how to make the photo appear feel free to post it so it can be seen without going to the link. I’ve also created two more 2 column layouts, one with a small column on the right, the other on the left. I plan on finishing the template soon and getting it into a bundle probably sometime tomorrow. : ) |

Hi moser – nice one! An elegant reworking of “Unbound” – like it! Here’s the pic:
(All you do is put the image’s url between exclamation marks.) Will you be providing a download link when the “bundle” is ready? Hope so! |

The New Theme Rebound is ready!!! phew! I don’t know why I decided to put together three layouts. I hate inline and display : ) • New look for header of unbound theme styled after Frog CMS site Here are some photos: ……………………………………………………………………………………………….. ……………………………………………………………………………………………….. ……………………………………………………………………………………………….. ……………………………………………………………………………………………….. Now there’s only one little problem… I have no site or ftp of my own to upload it to : / |

I’d be more than happy to host it for you, moser. Let me know, tyler [at] tbeckett [dot] net. |

@moser – clearly you are a glutton for punishment! :) If mtylerb hosts them, I’ll make sure they get linked from MadeByFrog.com when he’s got them available. Also, you wrote:
I have “proper” hosting for my “main” sites, but I first tried out Byethost. There are a number of good free hosting solutions out there. Byethost is reliable and very supportive. You can have your own Frog site up and running in about 10 minutes! (That’s what TestFrog is running on, btw.) |

@david – Thanks for the advice. I’ve heard of bytehost but never used it before. Very handy, so here’s the file… just download the rebound file |

@moser – fast work! P.s. the only thing you should not do from Byethost is “hotlink” a file for download, or you will get some strange 404/forwarding thing happening. O_o But I think you discovered that already! ;) |

Hi Moser, Nice work, looks good, I’m sure I will end up using this… One small bit of feedback. It’s probably my old eyes :) but the main nav hover has too little change – I think the hover css needs to be a lighter grey. cheers, Dave |

Thanks for the pos. feedback @Davep Part of the reason I made the theme the way I did is that it is super easy to change the color scheme of the header, body, footer, and links, by changing the colors for any of them quickly in the css or adding images. : ) |

Navigation doesn’t seem to work in ie6 or 7. Looks like a z-index problem maybe? I’m in over my head. Maybe a little help? Thanks! |
