Thanks Philippe, I can go ahead and finish my theme now :) It would be nice if the admin.css styles are included in the theme.css files, so they are easy to access. Are you planning to do this? |

I haven't think to do it, but if it is needed I can do it and remove both admin and login css files and just use the theme css file !! what can be usefull too, is to add directory for each theme, like that it will be easier to group images for by theme !! what you think theme dude ? ;) |

Sorry! Of course I meant to say the login.css styles should be included in the default themes! The directory-per-theme idea seems to have worked out quite well for Wordpress. Yep, I would go with that :) |

On the "directory-per-theme" idea -- I also think this is a good idea. In the short term, it will be a nuisance probably! But longer term, it will keep things a lot better organized. It should also make easier assigning different pages/children to different themes which is also a good thing, IMO. I have identified a few "opensource/free" CSS layouts I would like to port to FrogCMS, but will wait until this development is in place -- if it is to go ahead. |

Here is a first draft of a theme -- "signal", including theming of the login page. Give it a spin and let me know what breaks :) http://graphics-plus.co.uk/shared/frog/signal.css
Philippe, would be helpful for theme/plugin developers to have an svn or area of the site to host/share their stuff. An idea for the future maybe. Probably already noted, but the Javascript tabs (meta, admin page) + drag+drop / tree toggle (site map page) do not work in IE 6+7, or Opera, it seems. I will check the forums before posting a bug... |

I just checked the backend in IE6 and Opera 9.20. Sadly, I have the same experience as reported. Also, the "sidebar" (or other tab) edit-box appears below the "body" box. Nasty. :( @Milkshake: I grabbed signal.css -- looks nice! It didn't look like anything was broke. :) (Btw - got much snow where you are?!) |

(just late to the part, damn) :-) @denny: In post #36 you showed a nice very styled admin interface. the problem with such big icons and items is start when you have more 10 pages (let's say articles). I'm one of the maintainers of spanish version of www.ruby-lang.org (which is powered by Radiant), and is a bit problematic when things get so big to maintain. Anyway, looking forward for the theme :-) Luis |

I was goign to recode my CMS from scratch then I found frog CMs, which is almost perfect. Awhile ago I tried re skinning the backend. This is what i did with only editing the CSS and changing most of the icons. I would change a few things in the html to improve somethings. |

Haven't checked in for a while, what's the latest on the admin theme / theming system? Just to say the "signal" them I posted earlier has a new url: http://graphics-plus.co.uk/files/frog/signal.css |
